We are pleased to present the N.L. Social Procurement Summit. This event was developed in collaboration with Buy Social Canada and will be hosted at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. This jam-packed event of exciting content will be a source of inspiration, knowledge exchange, and policy recommendations to spur the development, acceleration and expansion of social procurement across our province.

The N.L. Social Procurement Summit will feature the stories of successful local social purpose organizations, promote opportunities for networking in the social innovation sector, and provide an opportunity to learn from social procurement leaders. This will be a chance to highlight opportunities for social enterprise growth by implementing social procurement strategies.

Who is this event for?

This event is for anyone interested in developing and implementing social procurement in NL. This includes (but is not limited to) those who work, volunteer or are involved with existing social purpose organizations, policymakers, students and researchers, members of the business community, and the general public.

How will the event be structured?

Your ticket will give you access to two days worth of local and live-streamed content. During this day, you will engage stakeholders of the social innovation ecosystem, aiming to spur discussion during breaks and meals throughout the day, peppered between locally-curated panels, and presentations.
