A collaboration between the Faculty of Business Administration, the School of Social Work, and the School of Music, Memorial's Centre for Social Enterprise acts as a catalyst to nurture social entrepreneurs and strengthen social enterprises in Newfoundland and Labrador. The centre works within the social entrepreneurial ecosystem to create linkages among students, faculty, community, and company leaders for networking and mentorship opportunities. It's a platform to support creative linkages between academic disciplines to nurture innovation in social entrepreneurship.

Choices for Youth focuses first and foremost on finding stable housing for youth, as a critical step to reducing crises, and as an important springboard for accessing additional supports. In times of crisis - with limited support and few options - young people need a place to stay, a hot meal, and someone to talk to. The Choices Shelter is an emergency shelter, welcoming youth between the ages of 16 and 29 who identify as male or who are gender non-conforming.

Food First NL works with communities in Newfoundland & Labrador to ensure everyone has access to affordable, healthy, and culturally appropriate food. We are a provincial, non-profit organization that collaborates with a network of 300 like-minded organizations and individuals to improve food security in NL. Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life.

End Homelessness St. John's (EHSJ) exists to prevent and end homelessness in St. John's. Working collaboratively with the community and public systems’ stakeholders, EHSJ leads the coordination and integration of system-wide planning to ensure St. John’s can become the next community in Canada to end homelessness.
